In this workshop, Victoria will teach beginners how to create edgings and a beautiful dogwood flower.

Learning Points:

 Knots and loops-the fundamental units of Needle Lace

 Increasing loops in a row

 Decreasing loops in a row

 Casting on a new Color or adding more thread

 Good practice with tail ends and casting on

 Undoing knots and mistakes

 The effects of outlining

 Creating large loops the same size

 Petal splits

 Creating clusters

8:30-9 Zoom setup (Sat only); classes: 9-10:30 AM and 11-12:30 Sat and same on Sunday, Cost is $55 fee plus $5 for instructional material/goodie bag shipping.

Materials in Goodie Bag:

Edging template; pattern/basic techniques instructions;

Ribbon to practice edging and to make a name tag; 1 magnetic backing for a name tag;

1 x hemstitched edged hanky; 1 x size #18 needle; and size 10 Lizbeth thread for class exercises.

Bring to Class:

Sharp scissor; Seam ripper; desk light; Optional: Lizbeth thread in size 20 or 40 (or 10 if you want a specific color).
